The Best Herby Garlic Bread

The Best Herby Garlic Bread, made from a crusty French baguette generously slathered with a flavourful garlic herb butter, and topped with Parmesan cheese. It's a mouth-watering delight that elevates any meal or gathering.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 French baguette
  • 4-6 cloves of garlic finely minced (I like to finely grate it using a microplane)
  • 100 g butter just melted (@pepesaya is my pick!)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Parmesan Topping

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter by combining the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
  • Slice the baguette into 1 inch slices on a slight angle.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over each slice of the baguette.
  • Place the slices of bread back into the baguette shape
  • Place on your baking tray and top with grated parmesan cheese
  • Place the garlic bread in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the bread is hot, crisp and heated through.
  • Serve hot straight from the oven
