The Best Herby Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- 1 French baguette
- 4-6 cloves of garlic finely minced (I like to finely grate it using a microplane)
- 100 g butter just melted (@pepesaya is my pick!)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Parmesan Topping
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F)
- Prepare the Garlic Butter by combining the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Slice the baguette into 1 inch slices on a slight angle.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over each slice of the baguette.
- Place the slices of bread back into the baguette shape
- Place on your baking tray and top with grated parmesan cheese
- Place the garlic bread in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the bread is hot, crisp and heated through.
- Serve hot straight from the oven
